Job Description
- High volume payroll processing including wages, salaries, overtime, and allowances
- Collecting, validating, and reconciling time and attendance data
- Ensuring all payroll transactions are processed accurately and within deadlines
- Maintaining payroll records and generating payslips, tax documentation, and reports
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, Modern Awards, and tax requirements
- Responding to payroll enquiries and delivering excellent customer service
- Partnering with HR, Finance, and broader teams on payroll-related matters
- Identifying discrepancies and contributing to process improvement initiatives
The Successful Applicant
- Proven experience in payroll processing within a medium to large organisation. Please do not apply if you haven't worked in a smaller organisation (e.g. less than 1000 employees).
- Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation, awards, and tax requirements
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset
- Team-oriented with a proactive and adaptable approach
