Your new companyJoin a community-focused local government organisation in Western Sydney. This council is committed to providing high-quality services to the community and is seeking a customer-focused professional to support its parking compliance function.Your new roleAn opportunity has become available for a Parking Patrol Officer to join a busy council team on an initial 3-month temporary contract, with the potential for extension.In this field-based role, you will be responsible for monitoring parking compliance, engaging with members of the public, responding to enquiries and helping maintain safe and accessible public spaces. You will work closely with a supportive team while delivering a high standard of customer service and professionalism.

What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you'll have:

  • Previous experience in parking enforcement, compliance, regulatory services or a similar customer-facing role.
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • The ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with challenging situations.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a willingness to assist the community.
  • Sound computer skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • A current NSW Driver Licence.
