Our client is a highly regarded private home care provider supporting a discerning client base with individual needs and exceptionally high service expectations. This is not a volume based role - it is a precision, relationship driven position requiring sound clinical judgement, emotional intelligence and impeccable professionalism.

This opportunity will suite a nurse who enjoys being highly present, responsive and trusted, someone comfortable working autonomously while upholding premium service standards.

The Role:

Working closely with service managers, you will play a key role in after-hours coordination and client support, ensuring continuity of care and seamless service delivery. You will work regular weekdays in the office and answer after hours calls during evenings, responding to urgent issues including time sensitive roster changes.

You will be relied upon to:

  1. Respond in as a calm, confident point of contact for private clients and care staff
  2. Coordinate short notice rostering changes with discretion and accuracy
  3. Apply sound clinical judgement to assess risk, escalate concerns and support compliance
  4. Maintain meticulous records and administrative processes
  5. Represent the organisation with professionalism at all times

The role is best suited to someone who:

  1. Is currently based in Melbourne's inner south east and values local accessibility
  2. Is polished articulate and confident engaging with private clients and families
  3. Has strong emotional intelligence and excellent critical thinking skills
  4. Thrives in a high expectation, detail driven environment
  5. Is comfortable working independently and being accountable for decisions

Essential Requirements:

  1. Current AHPRA Registration
  2. Solid clinical foundation combined with experience in a coordination or administrative role
  3. Strong customer service mindset within a private or premium healthcare setting
  4. High level of discretion, organisation and attention to detail

This role will not suit someone seeking a purely clinical, shift-based or entry level position or those requiring long daily travel times. Reliability, presence and responsiveness are essential.
