    Role Description The Occupational Therapist will provide assessment, intervention, and ongoing support to clients to help them participate more fully in daily activities at home, school, work, and in the community. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting functional assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, delivering one-on-one and group therapy sessions, and documenting progress in line with professional and regulatory standards. The role involves collaborating closely with families, caregivers, educators, and other health professionals to ensure coordinated care and effective goal-setting. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Brisbane Area, requiring regular in-person client sessions and participation in team meetings, case reviews, and professional development activities.

    Qualifications

    • Strong foundation in Occupational Therapy, including assessment, intervention planning, and evidence-based practice
    • Knowledge of Medicine and Rehabilitation principles relevant to functional recovery and long-term management
    • Excellent Communication skills for interacting with clients, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams
    • Experience or interest in Pediatrics, including working with children and young people in diverse settings
    • Recognized qualification in Occupational Therapy and current or eligible registration with the appropriate professional board or authority
    • Ability to work independently and within a team, demonstrating professional judgment and ethical practice
    • Strong documentation, time management, and organizational skills
    • Current working rights in Australia; relevant clearances (e.g., Working With Children Check) as required
