Our client
Our client is global snacking business that has grown at double-digit rates this year is building its commercial team in Sydney. We’re looking for a National Account Manager to lead its relationships with Metcash and the Independent Retailers.
It is a family-led international group with a portfolio of much-loved indulgent snacks alongside a fast-growing better-for-you range. The Australian business is ambitious and run with a start-up mindset, with the backing of a well-established global group behind it.
About the role
As the National Account Manager - Independents, you’ll own the customer P&L across distribution, price and manage all trade spend for your account. You’ll build the plans and manage the customer relationships. You’ll also work side by side with marketing, category and supply teams to grow both brand portfolios in Australian grocery. Your input on pricing, range and new product launches will shape how these brands show up on shelf.
About you
You’ll bring 5+ years in FMCG sales, with national account experience at Coles, Woolworths or Metcash. You’ll enjoy having more ownership of the P&L than a large multinational structure usually allows. Food experience is a plus and a bachelors degree is essential.
The role is based in Sydney's CBD, with four days in the office and one day from home.
