About the Client
Our client is a leading provider of waste management, recycling and resource recovery services, supporting commercial, industrial, construction and municipal sectors across Australia. They deliver end-to-end solutions including waste collection, recycling, treatment, resource recovery and environmental services, helping businesses improve sustainability and reduce landfill.
What You Will Be Doing
This is a long term position, working Monday Friday as a relief driver covering front and rear lift runs. Must be available for start times between 12am - 2am and weekend work when required. Your main duties will be performing the below duties on site:
- Safely operate HR vehicles and equipment in line with company regulations.
- Maintain a high standard of vehicle presentation, both inside and out.
- Conduct daily maintenance and safety checks on vehicles and equipment as needed.
- Operating front lift or rear lift vehicles safely and effectively to lift waste bins
- Operate the lifting equipment to safely complete loading and unloading duties for commercial and industrial waste.
What You Will Need
- Drivers Licence + reliable transport
- Minimum 2 years or longer as a HR drivers
- Waste industry experience preferred not essential
- Strong work ethic, reliable and safety focused.
- Physically fit as you will be pushing and pulling heavy bins
- Able to work independently
- Mechanical aptitude
