Seeking experienced Motorcycle Technicians to service and maintain a diverse range of motorcycles in a well-established and supportive workshop setting. This permanent full-time role is located within a broad northern Queensland area.

About the Motorcycle Technician role

• Requirements: Qualified motorcycle mechanics with strong diagnostic abilities.
• Compensation: Competitive hourly pay up to approximately $50.
• Location: Northern Queensland region.

Primary responsibilities

• Identify mechanical and electrical issues on motorcycles promptly and accurately.
• Conduct servicing, repairs, and upkeep across various motorcycle models, including well-known premium brands.
• Inspect and replace engine parts and components efficiently.
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety checks in accordance with manufacturer recommendations.
• Test ride motorcycles to verify repair quality and road safety.
• Recognise and address any safety concerns related to maintenance tasks.
• Communicate repair needs and cost estimates clearly to clients and supervisors.
• Keep comprehensive records of all maintenance work and parts inventory.
• Assist in training less experienced technicians and engage in regular safety and skills meetings.
• Maintain workshop cleanliness and adhere to workplace health and safety requirements.
