Solitaire Automotive Group is currently seeking experienced and talented Motorcycle Mechanic. We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Motorcycle Mechanic to obtain long-term and secure employment within our Service Team.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure repair jobs are done in a timely manner
- Ensure quality of work is adhered to in accordance with manufacturing requirements to reduce repeat repairs
- Effectively communicate with workshop foreman and QC
- Effectively communicate service stories on all RO’s
- Respect customer vehicle
- Place all customers personal items on to trolleys
- Neat tidy appearance at all times
- Must wear clean uniform
- When communicating to customers do so in a professional and respectful manner
- Utilise effective time management and be pro-active
Qualifications & Requirements
- Certificate IV in Motorcycle Technology, Automotive Technology, or a related qualification – preferred
- At least 2 years’ experience working as a Motorcycle Technician or in a relevant mechanical role within the automotive or motorcycle industry
- Experience working with Ducati brand – preferred
- Competent numeracy, literacy and computer skills.
- Ability to multitask and take a proactive approach to work.
- Reliable with an excellent work ethic.
- Professional appearance and manner.
Salary
The salary range is $75,000 to $85,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, qualifications and skills. The salary is a base salary.
Sponsorship will be considered for suitable candidates.
