The modern, well-equipped workshop is staffed by a team of skilled professionals who deliver top-tier mechanical solutions using advanced tools and technology. As part of growth, they are seeking an experienced and dedicated Motor Mechanic to join the dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

·Inspect vehicles and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment and road tests.

·Examine engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, braking, ignition and fuel systems to identify faults.

·Perform scheduled servicing and routine maintenance according to manufacturer requirements.

·Change engine oil and filters, check fluid levels, rotate tyres and complete vehicle tune-ups.

·Dismantle engines, transmissions and other mechanical components to inspect their condition.

·Repair or replace worn, damaged or faulty parts, including brake pads, belts, hoses and wheel bearings.

·Reassemble engines and other mechanical components after completing repairs.

·Diagnose and repair vehicle electrical systems, including batteries, alternators, starter motors and lighting.

·Service and repair braking, steering and suspension systems.

·Adjust brakes and perform wheel alignments where required.

·Test repaired vehicles using diagnostic computers and other testing equipment.

·Conduct road tests and final inspections to ensure vehicles operate safely and correctly.

·Discuss vehicle faults with customers and explain the repairs required or completed.

·Provide estimates of repair costs, labour requirements and completion times.

·Maintain accurate service and repair records and schedule future maintenance.

·Use and maintain workshop tools and equipment safely while keeping the work area clean and organised.

Skills & Experience

·Certificate IV qualification is required.

·At least 1 year of relevant industry experience.

·Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components.

·Ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of mechanical issues.

·Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety.

·Relevant certifications and qualifications in motor mechanics.

·Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.

Salary Package: $75,000 - $90,000 Plus Superannuation per annum.
