Our client is looking for a Motel Manager to run their Motel & Country Retreat located in Princetown VIC.
As a motel manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the motel and its staff as well as planning, organizing, and directing all motel services.
The manager will be responsible for achieving the motel's revenue and room sales objectives, ensuring the appropriate standard of service for motel guests, keeping a close eye on costs, and helping the motel achieve success.
You will require strong managerial skills in order to be able to increase the motel's revenue, manage the budget and ensure the motel's market position is competitive.
In order to ensure an excellent service, you will supervise the work of motel staff in all areas and perform checks to ensure compliance with the requiring quality standards, carrying out thorough inspections to ensure no problems (eg cleanliness, maintenance, or other aspects) will arise.
Skills Required:
Previous Motel management experience (preferred)
Exceptional customer service, sales, and communication skills
Good Computer literacy
Oversee Motel facilities, grounds, and property maintenance.
Ability to manage, supervise and form a great working relationship with staff.
Motivation to drive the business forward.
Ensure the Motel is compliant with work health and safety, licensing, and fire safety regulations.
Annual Salary Range:
$73,000- $75,000 plus superannuation.
