About the Role
We’re looking for Mill Operators to join an animal feed manufacturing site in Harristown Toowoomba, with one position on morning shift and one on afternoon shift. This is a varied, hands-on role combining production and warehousing duties, including operating bagging lines and mixers as part of the grain pellet formulation process.
This is a great opportunity for forklift-licensed operators looking to join a well-established manufacturer, with strong pay rates and the potential to move into a permanent position for the right candidate.
About You & Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery, primarily bagging lines and mixers
- Carry out warehousing duties, including counterbalance forklift operation (this is not an entirely forklift-based role)
- Perform manual handling of up to 20kg on a semi-regular basis
- Maintain a safe, clean and organised work area
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
- Current forklift licence (essential)
- Previous counterbalance forklift experience
- Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 20kg
- Comfortable working in a dusty environment and wearing a mask in some areas, so being clean shaven is required
- Flexible and willing to work some weekends and night shifts when required
- Reliable, safety-focused and committed to quality work
What’s on Offer?
- Morning shift: $41.90/hr casual rate (6:00am – 2:30pm)
- Afternoon shift: $48.20/hr casual rate including afternoon shift allowance (1:30pm – 10:00pm)
- Temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate

Additional Information
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends and night shifts is required
- Dusty environment, with masks required in some areas
