About the Role

As a Travel Mental Health Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality, patient-centred mental health care in inpatient, community, and outreach settings. You’ll work with individuals experiencing acute and chronic mental health issues, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based interventions.

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive mental health nursing care to patients across acute, sub-acute, and community settings
  • Conduct risk assessments, safety planning, and crisis intervention
  • Administer medications and manage treatment plans in accordance with NSW Health protocols
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and allied health teams
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Support recovery-oriented care and patient advocacy
