$55 per hour + Penalty Rates | Monday–Friday | 7:00am–3:30pm | Temp-to-Perm Opportunity
Location: Girraween, Western Sydney
Contract: Initial 3-month contract with potential for permanent employment

About the Opportunity
2XM Recruit is currently seeking a trade-qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, Plant Mechanic or Mechanical Fitter to join our client who is a leading provider of pipeline infrastructure solutions across Australia and New Zealand.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced mechanical tradesperson looking for a hands-on role with consistent weekday hours and to work on a wide range of equipment used within their operations. 

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, preventative maintenance and mechanical repairs across a diverse range of operational equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults to minimise equipment downtime.
• Complete routine inspections and identify maintenance requirements.
• Repair and replace mechanical components as required.
• Ensure equipment is maintained to safe and reliable operating standards.
• Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to support daily operations.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment.

About You

• Relevant mechanical trade qualification is essential – Light Vehicle Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, Plant Mechanic or Mechanical Fitter.
• Previous experience in mechanical servicing, maintenance and repairs.
• Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work across a variety of equipment and machinery.
• A proactive, reliable and safety-focused approach.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
