  • Compliance & Data Integrity: Ensure all maintenance tasks align with relevant Australian Standards, legislation, and internal HSEQ policies. Capture and report all maintenance data accurately and promptly.
  • Stakeholder & Client Relations: Foster open, honest communication with alliance partners, operations staff, and internal team members, taking personal responsibility for service delivery.
  • Safety & Environment: Actively contribute to safe work practices, promptly report any hazards or incidents, and adhere strictly to HSEQ policies.
  • Flexibility & On-Call: Participate in a 1st Level On-Call function and maintain flexibility to travel across various metropolitan operational sites as needed.

About You: Technical Expertise & Trade Discipline

We are looking for a highly motivated trade professional who displays strong work management discipline, solves problems proactively, and works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team environment.

Selection Criteria:

  • Trade Qualifications: Relevant Mechanical Trade Certificate and Licence with solid industry experience in the industrial, manufacturing, or municipal sectors.
  • Mechanical Proficiencies: Demonstrated experience diagnosing faults and repairing heavy mechanical equipment. Highly desirable skills include precision machining, welding, and pneumatics/hydraulics exposure.
  • Licences: * Current unrestricted Australian Driver’s Licence.
    • Medium Rigid (MR) Driver’s Licence.
    • Truck mounted crane / rigger licence (highly desirable).
  • Compliance Mindset: Strong understanding of WHS standards and ability to pass necessary background checks.
  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with a courteous, customer-focused approach to dealing with clients and colleagues.

What’s on Offer?

  • Essential Services Stability: Secure, long-term career opportunity within a resilient infrastructure sector.
  • Diverse & Critical Portfolio: Hands-on maintenance of large-scale, complex mechanical assets.
