Mechanical Plumber

Our client is an international plumbing company that has been operating for over 25 years. We are currently seeking experienced Mechanical Plumbers with strong copper experience to join a major infrastructure project in Western Sydney. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a large-scale project with consistent work and competitive rates.

Duties include:

• Installation of copper pipework for mechanical services
• Measuring, cutting, and preparing copper pipe
• Brazing copper pipe joints
• Installing pipe supports, brackets, and hangers
• Assisting with mechanical plant connections
• Reading and interpreting mechanical/hydraulic drawings
• Pressure testing pipe systems and checking for leaks
• Working safely alongside other trades on a large infrastructure site
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area

Requirements:

• Cert III in Plumbing (or overseas equivalent)
• Willing to obtain Safely Access the Rail Corridor (SARC) 
• Working at Heights ticket
• EWP ticket
• White Card
• Experience working with copper pipework
• Own basic tools and PPE
• Ability to read mechanical/hydraulic drawings
• Strong safety awareness and work ethic
