Project Ceres (Perdaman)

Clough, as part of a joint venture, is delivering the Project Ceres urea plant, a landmark project for Western Australia. The plant will be the largest in Australia and one of the largest in the world, installing the most sustainable production processes. The project is expected to generate 2,000 jobs during the construction phase, whilst delivering sustained benefits to the local community through career, training and business opportunities.

About the Role

Join our team as an experienced Mechanical Fitter on the Perdaman Project in Karratha. We are looking for someone with 4+ years' hands on experience in construction environments. This position offers a 20:8 roster (20 days on, 8 days off) with Perth as the point of hire.  

  • Install and assemble structural, mechanical, and piping components per engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Statis/Rotating experience and laser alignment experience.
  • Experience in Flange management.
  • Experience at working with computerized maintenance management system such as SAP.
  • Conduct testing (e.g., pressure testing, alignment checks) to ensure system integrity and functionality.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, risk assessments, and permit systems to ensure a safe, compliant work environment.

What you will bring to the team:

  • A relevant Trade Certificate and Construction White/Blue Card. 
  • Working at Heights, High Risk Work License (EWP), Confined Space and Gas test Atmospheres.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to work effectively within a team environment. 
  • Previous experience working FIFO/ Mining/ Construction or Project based environments will be highly regarded.
  • Hold a current Australian Driver's License.
  • Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening. 
  • Must have full working rights in Australia.
