MC Quad Operator NorthWest

Our client is a proudly Western Australian owned company with operations across transport, logistics and mining and resources.
 
They have immediate need for
 
MC Drivers
(Quad Operators - Northwest)

for long term ongoing FIFO positions.
 
Details of the role:

• The role is operating quad road trains, side tippers hauling iron ore between mine sites and the port, side tipping into bunkers at the port.
• Working a 13-to-15-hour shifts with no fixed start or finish times as these positions work on a rolling roster. You will start work when your cross shift returns to the depot. You will work both days and nights over the span of one working week.
• Work 5 shifts over 6 days, the 7th day is a 24-hour fatigue break.
• 4:2 roster
  • WA residents have the option of a 2:1 roster
  • NZ residents have the option of an 8:4 roster
• Flights are provided out of all Australian capital cities as well as
  • Cairns
  • Townsville
  • Wellington
  • Christchurch
  • Auckland
• Drivers will stay at a purpose-built camp built that include all latest amenities including double bed, black out windows and ensuite.
• Pay Rate $60.16
  • Based on average hours (84 hours over 6 shifts), weekly gross is ~$5000 per week

REQUIREMENTS OF ROLE

• Minimum of 18 months B double and Road ranger (recent experience)
• Able to obtain an unrestricted Commercial Drivers Medical
• Able to pass a laboratory drug & alcohol screen and pre-employment medical
