HAITANG WELLNESS PTY LTD is seeking a qualified and experienced Massage Therapist to join our team at Seasons Spa in Mansfield, Victoria.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform therapeutic massage treatments for remedial and health purposes.
- Massage muscles, tendons and ligaments to assist healing, relieve tension and improve mobility.
- Assess clients' physical conditions, medical histories and treatment requirements before commencing treatments.
- Apply a range of massage techniques, including deep tissue, remedial, sports and Chinese (Tui Na) massage.
- Provide treatments to improve circulation, relieve pain and support recovery.
- Use complementary techniques where appropriate, including acupressure, cupping, Gua Sha, hot stones, infrared therapy, essential oils, wet compresses and stretching.
- Provide clients with aftercare advice, stretching guidance and rehabilitation support.
- Maintain accurate treatment notes and client records.
- Maintain treatment rooms, equipment and hygiene standards in accordance with workplace health and safety requirements.
- Communicate professionally with clients and team members to deliver a high standard of customer service.
Skills and Experience Required
Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
- A Diploma or higher qualification in a relevant field, together with at least one year of relevant work experience; or
- At least three years of relevant work experience.
Applicants should demonstrate sound knowledge of massage therapy techniques, client assessment, treatment planning, hygiene practices and professional client care.
A remuneration package of $80,000 + super will be offered to the successful candidate.
