Your new company
Our client is a leading Australian manufacturer supplying high-quality steel building products to residential, commercial and industrial projects across the country. With a strong focus on safety, innovation and operational excellence, they are seeking motivated Mill and Folder Operators to join their Townsville manufacturing team.
Your new role
Working Monday to Friday on a consistent 6:00am to 2:00pm shift, you will operate production machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, helping produce steel products to customer specifications while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
Your duties will include:
- Operating and monitoring mill or folding machinery
- Setting up and adjusting equipment for production runs
- Reading and interpreting production orders and drawings
- Conducting quality checks on finished products
- Handling steel products safely and efficiently
- Assisting across other production areas as required
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous manufacturing, production or machine operating experience
- Experience as a Mill Operator, Folder Operator, Machine Operator or similar role (desirable)
- Ability to read and follow production instructions and measurements
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- A reliable work ethic and positive attitude
- A strong focus on workplace health and safety
- Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential)
