Our client is a leading Australian manufacturer of reinforcing steel and mesh products, supplying quality solutions to the residential, commercial, civil and infrastructure sectors.
What You Will Be Doing
WorkPac is seeking a reliable Manufacturing Labourer to join a busy production team in Bells Creek. This is a long-term opportunity working Monday to Friday, with 8-hour shifts between 5am and 5pm.
Duties will include:
- Operating steel processing machinery, including bending and cutting machines
- Setting up, adjusting and monitoring production equipment
- Loading raw steel materials into machinery and production lines
- Measuring and inspecting finished products to ensure quality standards are met
- Reading production orders, drawings and work instructions
- Operating overhead gantry cranes and forklifts where licensed and required
- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment
What You Will Need
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol screen
- Previous factory, manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred
- Forklift licence and experience advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Good physical fitness and a commitment to workplace safety
