Our client is seeking a reliable and mechanically minded Assembly Worker to join their manufacturing team in Yatala.This is a full-time labour-hire position with the potential to transition into permanent employment based on performance and business requirements. You will work across assembly, production and general manufacturing activities in a fast-paced environment.
Your Duties Will Include
- Assembling industrial products and components
- Measuring, marking, cutting, drilling and grinding materials
- Using hand tools, power tools and manufacturing equipment
- Checking measurements against drawings and specifications
- Operating a forklift and moving materials around the site
- Packing completed products and preparing orders for dispatch
- Assisting with fabrication, painting and powder-coating preparation
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised work area
What Youll Need
- CurrentLF forklift licence
- Previous experience in manufacturing, metalwork, mechanical assembly, fabrication or carpentry
- Confidence using hand and power tools
- Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to safely complete hands-on and physically active duties
- Strong work ethic and a reliable employment history
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team
