Your new role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Manufacturing Accountant will provide key support across cost accounting, fixed asset management, general accounting, SAP data governance and business analysis. The position will suit a commercially minded accounting professional who enjoys working closely with operations, supply chain, engineering, IT and finance stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
You will bring strong accounting experience, well-developed analytical skills and the confidence to partner with operational teams in a manufacturing environment. You will be detail-oriented, proactive and comfortable working with systems, data and stakeholders across multiple business functions.
Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related disciplineDemonstrated accounting experience, including cost accountingStrong Microsoft Excel capabilityManufacturing experience highly desirableSAP experience preferredCA or CPA qualification, or progress towards completion, will be highly regardedStrong communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationshipsOrganised, self-motivated and able to work autonomouslyHigh attention to detail with a continuous improvement mindsetWhat you'll get in return
