Your new role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Manufacturing Accountant will provide key support across cost accounting, fixed asset management, general accounting, SAP data governance and business analysis. The position will suit a commercially minded accounting professional who enjoys working closely with operations, supply chain, engineering, IT and finance stakeholders.

Maintain the integrity of inventory costing and valuation processes Analyse manufacturing variances, margins, profitability and cost drivers Assist with month-end close, reconciliations and general accounting activities Maintain the fixed asset register, depreciation processes and capital expenditure records Support asset verification, financial controls and audit requirements Lead SAP data governance across material masters, bills of materials, routings, vendors and customers Support ERP enhancements, reporting improvements and process optimisation Provide meaningful analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making

What you'll need to succeed
You will bring strong accounting experience, well-developed analytical skills and the confidence to partner with operational teams in a manufacturing environment. You will be detail-oriented, proactive and comfortable working with systems, data and stakeholders across multiple business functions.
Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related disciplineDemonstrated accounting experience, including cost accountingStrong Microsoft Excel capabilityManufacturing experience highly desirableSAP experience preferredCA or CPA qualification, or progress towards completion, will be highly regardedStrong communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationshipsOrganised, self-motivated and able to work autonomouslyHigh attention to detail with a continuous improvement mindsetWhat you'll get in return
