Hays are seeking an experienced Management Accountant for a short term contract opportunity based in West Perth. This is a great opportunity for an immediately available finance professional to step into themining and resources sector and provide critical support across month end reporting, forecasting and stakeholder engagement.

Position Overview

• Management Accountant
• Start ASAP
• Duration: 3 months
• Monday to Friday, 5:2 roster, 7.6 hour days

Key responsibilities

• Prepare month-end journals
• Liaise with business stakeholders before and during month-end
• Deliver commentary and analysis on month-end results
• Partner with stakeholders to collate forecasts and budgets

Skills and Experience

• CPA or CA qualification
• Strong working knowledge of Power BI
• Proven ability to manage and interpret large data sets
• SAP experience will be highly regarded
• Previous experience in the Mining & Resources sector desirable
