Working as part of an experienced maintenance team, you'll play a key role in delivering responsive repairs and ongoing property upkeep across multiple locations.
Your new role
As a Maintenance Officer, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of reactive and planned maintenance works across residential properties. This hands-on role will see you undertaking general repairs, fault-finding, basic carpentry, painting, plastering and property upkeep, while maintaining a respectful and friendly relationship with staff and residents. You'll manage your own workload, prioritise maintenance requests and work closely with internal teams to ensure properties are maintained to a high standard.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in a Maintenance Officer, Handyperson or similar role
- Strong all-round maintenance skills for general building repairs
- Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Understanding of WHS requirements and safe work practices
- Current NSW Driver Licence
- Experience using mobile devices and basic Microsoft Office programmes
