Job Title: Maintenance Officer / Handyman
Location: Various across Sydney
Pay Rate: $35ph + Super
We are currently recruiting for Maintenance Officers to join respected aged care organisations across multiple Sydney locations. These are fantastic opportunities for experienced maintenance professionals who enjoy hands-on work and take pride in maintaining safe and welcoming environments for residents and staff.
Locations include:
- North Turramurra
- Eastern Suburbs
- Inner West
- Northern Beaches

Key responsibilities:
- General building maintenance and repairs
- Preventative and reactive maintenance works
- Basic carpentry, painting, patching and handyman duties
- Responding to day-to-day maintenance requests
- Ensuring the facility is safe, presentable and well maintained
- Liaising with contractors, staff and site management
- Supporting the smooth operation of the aged care environment
Requirements:
- Current driver’s licence
- Trade qualification
- Good computer skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Previous experience in a Maintenance Officer or Handyperson role
- Experience within retirement living or aged care highly regarded
- Background in building, fitter & turner, welding or plumbing desirable
