WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
- Carrying out preventative and breakdown maintenance
- Diagnosing mechanical faults and getting machinery back up and running
- Completing machinery installations, upgrades and repairs
- Operating manual lathes and mills to manufacture, repair and modify components
- Performing mechanical fitting and light fabrication
- Getting involved in continuous improvement projects to improve equipment reliability and performance
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical (essential)
- Experience operating manual lathes and mills (essential)
- Strong experience maintaining industrial manufacturing equipment
- Excellent mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- A strong commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
