Maintenance Fitter – Day Shift Dinmore, QLD | $45.10/hr + Super + Overtime Are you an experienced Maintenance Fitter looking to join one of the region’s largest and most established food manufacturing operations?
We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Fitter to join a well-established maintenance team at a major production facility in Dinmore. The Role Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:
- Preventative and breakdown maintenance across production assets
- Fault finding and troubleshooting on mechanical equipment
- Maintenance of conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, hydraulics and pneumatics
- Supporting plant reliability and continuous improvement initiatives
- Assisting with shutdown and project work
- Working closely with production teams to minimise downtime
- Maintaining maintenance records and completing work orders
About You To be successful, you will ideally have:
- Trade qualification as a Fitter & Turner / Maintenance Fitter
- Experience within food manufacturing, FMCG, meat processing, packaging or heavy industry
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience working with conveyors, pumps, hydraulics and pneumatic systems
- A proactive and team-focused attitude
- Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement
