Permanent Day Shift

Join an established global manufacturer with a long-standing presence in the Australian market. The business operates from a busy manufacturing facility in Minto and is committed to maintaining a safe, reliable and efficient production environment.
Working as part of the site maintenance function, you will provide electrical maintenance support across production equipment and site infrastructure and new machinery/production line installation.
The standard shift is 6:00am to 2:06pm, Monday to Friday. On Wednesdays, the shift operates from 5:03am to 2:06pm, with the additional time contributing toward the RDO arrangement.
Your responsibilities will include:

  • Completing preventative and scheduled electrical maintenance
  • Responding to equipment breakdowns and production issues
  • Performing electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting
  • Supporting safe and reliable plant operation
  • Completing maintenance records and related documentation
  • Working closely with production and maintenance team members
  • Identifying opportunities to improve equipment reliability
  • Supporting maintenance projects, upgrades and shutdown activities
  • Following site safety, isolation and permit procedures

What you'll need to succeed

  • A current NSW Electrical Licence
  • Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong electrical fault-finding and breakdown maintenance skills
  • Experience completing preventative and planned maintenance
  • A safety-focused and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • The ability to work independently and prioritise maintenance requirements
  • Experience within FMCG, packaging, processing, production or continuous manufacturing environments will be highly regarded.
