About the Role
JBS Pork Australia – Farming Team is currently recruiting an Electrician to support the team at our Corowa site.
This full-time position is responsible for providing an efficient and effective repair and maintenance service for Company facilities and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general electrical maintenance.
- Undertake on-site maintenance, equipment installation and breakdown repairs.
- Complete daily work routines, jobs and project work in accordance with Company needs and priorities.
- Maintain tools and equipment in a safe and proper working condition.
- Assist in the training of other employees / apprentices.
- Ensure annual objectives are regularly reviewed and met.
- Contribute to key business activities (as required).
- Adhere to all Company policies, procedures, processes and work instructions at all times.
- Perform other duties as directed.
Skills & Experience
- Electrical trade qualifications.
- A sound understanding of electrical maintenance practices.
- A demonstrated ability in diagnosing and rectifying electrical faults.
- A working knowledge of maintenance procedures.
- Sound communication skills, initiative and strong attention to detail.
- Effective time management skills.
- A preparedness to work flexible hours.
- Basic computer skills.
- Current driver’s licence.
