The Opportunity
We are seeking experienced GPs to provide culturally appropriate primary healthcare to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities in Narooma, on the stunning NSW South Coast. You’ll work as part of a supportive team as the sole GP alongside nurses, Aboriginal Health Workers and allied health staff, delivering comprehensive care in a welcoming environment.
The clinic uses Best Practice software, with a minimum of 20 minutes per consultation. Hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm, with no on-call, after-hours or weekend requirements. Locums are required for a minimum of three weeks, with longer blocks available.
For this role, the GP will also be required to assist in the outreach clinic in Wallaga Lake once a fortnight.
Experience in Aboriginal Health is essential for this position.

Essential criteria
- Fellowship with RACGP and/or ACRRM
- Current AHPRA Specialist GP Registration
- Eligible for a Medicare provider number with full billing rights
- Experience in rural or remote healthcare, ideally Indigenous health
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity in Aboriginal health contexts
