Locum Rural Generalist – Senior Medical Officer
- Provide medical care as a Senior Medical Officer in a rural setting
- Work in the Emergency Department with a focus on advanced Obstetrics and Anaesthetics
- Fulfil shifts from ASAP until January 2027 with specific rosters
Dates: ASAP - 16 Sep, 17 Sep 2026 - 03 Jan 2027
Conditions: Requirement: FACRRM/FRACGP preferred with strong ED experience; advanced Obstetrics/Anaesthetics desirable Job Details: ASAP–JAN 2027; Shifts: 0800–1630, 1030–1900, 1330–2200; Additional rosters: FLO SMO 0800–1630 (ED beds), FT SMO 0830–1630 (waiting room); Staffing: 2 MOs in ED daily (0800–2200); Overnight: ED SMO on call + second procedural SMO (Obs/Anaes) within 30 mins; Notes: FACRRM/FRACGP preferred, ED experience essential, advanced Obs/Anaes desirable
Credentials: QLD Hospital paperwork; Immunisations/vaccinations; Indemnity; Medicare provider number; ID check; CRC & WWCC (if applicable); Primary Degree; Fellowship & CPD Certificate (if applicable); References; Current AHPRA Registration
