Locum Occupational Therapist

Looking for your next locum opportunity in South Australia? We’re seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a public health service in Southern Adelaide for an initial three-month contract, with an ASAP start.

This is a great opportunity for an AHP2 Occupational Therapist with hospital experience and an interest in neurosciences to broaden their clinical experience while enjoying the flexibility and benefits of locum work.

The role

You’ll work within a hospital environment, managing a varied caseload with a focus on neurosciences, including stroke, neurology and neurosurgery, alongside some surgical subspecialties.

You’ll have the opportunity to apply your existing clinical skills, support patients through their hospital journey and work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team.

What’s on offer?

• Locum contract for at least three months, with an ASAP start
• Competitive hourly rate of up to $70 per hour, depending on experience
• Experience within a public health hospital setting

About you

To be considered, you’ll have:

• AHP2-level Occupational Therapy experience
• At least 2-3 years of relevant clinical experience
• Previous experience working within a hospital environment
• Experience or a strong clinical background in stroke, neurology, neurosurgery or related caseloads
• The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
