Local Driver - MC, HC or HR
Location: Adelaide
Part time or Full time - Day Shifts
Rigid Driver: $30.93 per hour
Heavy Combination Driver: $30.93 per hour
B-Double Driver: $32.31 per hour
Our Adelaide depot is seeking Local Drivers to join the team, with both permanent full-time and part-time opportunities available.
As part of a newly secured secondary freighting contract, we're expanding our local Adelaide operations and are looking for reliable drivers to help keep our freight moving.
We welcome applications from experienced HR, HC and MC licence holders, including B-Double drivers, and are happy to consider both part-time and full-time arrangements. This is a great opportunity to join a growing operation with ongoing, secure work and a strong team environment.

What You’ll Do
Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Support Local work and collection of containers from the Rail.
- Safe Always – Demonstrating safe work practices, leading by example and promoting a safe work culture.
- Temperature Sensitive Freight – working with and understanding temperature sensitive freight, ensuring the safe and timely handling.
- Customer Service – Interacting with customers in a professional manner.
- Teamwork & Communication – Working closely with depot teams for the loading, unloading and transportation of freight.
- Good Work Ethic – Reliable, supportive and the ability to have a go!
- Quality Checks & Control – Completing relevant pre-start checklists, safety documentation and delivery of paperwork.
What You’ll Bring:
- Current HC licence
- Proven commercial driving experience (local or metro delivery experience is a bonus)
- Refrigerated or cold-chain experience is helpful, but not essential
- A safe driving record (current driving history report required)
- A strong focus on safety and doing the job properly
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, on time and take pride in your vehicle and your work
