About the Role
In this role, you will operate heavy mobile plant to safely load, move and transport materials across site. You will also complete daily pre-start checks, assist with general quarry duties and work closely with the team to ensure production targets are met safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Loaders and/or Articulated Dump Trucks
- Load, move and transport quarry materials safely and efficiently
- Complete daily pre-start checks and equipment inspections
- Monitor machinery and report any faults or maintenance requirements
- Assist with general quarry duties and site housekeeping
- Follow all site safety procedures and requirements
- Work as part of a team to meet daily production targets
About You
To be successful, you will have:
- Previous experience operating Loaders and/or Articulated Dump Trucks
- Quarry, mining, civil or heavy industry experience highly regarded
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Reliable and hardworking attitude
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
