NW Mining & Civil are seeking an experienced Agi Truck Driver for a Leading Hand role with one of our local Mt Isa quarry clients.
Previous Agi experience is essential to succeed, and those with batching experience will be highly regarded.
To fulfil the duties of a Leading Hand, the right person will be organised, efficient, a great communicator, able to problem solve on the go and be able to build strong customer relationships. You must also be fit & capable of performing the manual tasks required in this role.
Being a Mon-Fri roster, applicants must reside in Mt Isa already, or be willing to relocate at their own cost. Accommodation assistance is available.
Shift are 10-12 hours per day, some Saturdays may be required during peak times. Pay rate is from $55/hr in line with experience. The position is casual to start with, permanent may be offered down the track.
With some day to day work located on a local mine site, applicants must also be willing and able to complete the required medical & inductions.
To reiterate, requirements for this role include:
- HR truck licence at a minimum
- Agi experience
- Possess the skills to fulfil the leading hand requirements of the role
- Batch plant experience preferred
- Be able to pass medical and D&A screening
