We're looking for a dedicated Laundry Services Assistant to join the friendly team at Respect Maleny Erowal

In this permanent part-time role, you'll play an important part in supporting our residents' comfort and wellbeing by delivering high-quality laundry services. From ensuring clothing and linen are cleaned and cared for to maintaining excellent hygiene standards, your work helps create the warm, welcoming environment our residents proudly call home.

About the Role

As a Laundry Services Assistant, you'll be responsible for delivering efficient, high-quality laundry services while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and infection control. You'll work as part of a supportive team to ensure residents' clothing and linen are handled with care, contributing to their comfort, dignity and quality of life.

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

  • Experience in laundry services or a similar support services role (preferred).
  • An understanding of infection prevention, safe chemical handling and workplace hygiene practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently.
  • A positive attitude and strong commitment to customer service.
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • A current National Police Check and NDIS workder screen (or willingness to obtain one).

Experience in residential aged care or a similar healthcare environment will be highly regarded.

To be considered for employment with Respect, all candidates must satisfy the legislative requirements of the Aged Care Worker Screening process.
