About Our Client:
Our client is a trusted name in the construction and manufacturing industry, delivering high-quality frame and truss solutions to residential and commercial projects.
Roster:
Monday to Thursday 7.00am - 3.30pm
Friday 6.00am 12.00pm
What you will be doing:
- Assist in the assembly of timber and steel wall frames and roof trusses
- Measure, cut, position and secure framing components according to plans
- Operate hand tools, power tools and assembly equipment safely
- Load, unload and move materials around the workshop and site
- Read and interpret basic construction drawings and job specifications
- Conduct quality checks to ensure frames and trusses meet required standards
- Stack, label and prepare completed frames and trusses for delivery
- Support production teams to meet daily manufacturing and delivery deadlines
- Assist with general factory and yard labouring duties as required
What you will need:
- Drivers Licence + reliable transport
- Previous experience in a labouring, construction, manufacturing or frame & truss environment (desirable)
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Physically fit and capable of repetitive lifting and manual handling tasks
- Ability to read and interpret basic plans, measurements and job instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and meet deadlines
- Basic measuring and mathematical skills
