Your new role
As a Laboratory Manager, your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Managing and supporting a team of 32 individuals across Laboratory Technicians and Supervisors.
- Maintain staff training and progression.
- Leading by example and offering a hands-on approach regarding technical duties.
- Ability to prioritise and ensure the laboratory is operating in line with OHS requirements whilst meeting client deadlines.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- Data management and documentation of laboratory equipment.
- Scheduling maintenance services on laboratory equipment.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in a leadership role along with a technical understanding of laboratory requirements for mining industry.
- Valid working rights in Australia (sponsorship opportunities are available)
- Ability to pass required medicals and DAS.
- Ability to commit to 8:6 DS roster.
