We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Energy Trading Sales Analyst to join a dynamic trading environment in Sydney. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for a recent graduate with 1-2 years prior experience looking to start their career in energy markets and trading.
In this role, you will support a busy sales and trading desk with market analysis, trade support, and client-related activities across energy products. You will gain hands-on exposure to live markets and work closely with experienced traders and sales professionals in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support daily trading and sales desk operations
- Assist with monitoring energy markets and preparing basic market updates
- Provide trade support and assist with execution processes
- Support client communication and desk coordination
- Maintain and update internal reporting and market information
- Work closely with traders and sales teams on day-to-day requirements
About You:
- Recent university graduate with 1–2 years’ post-graduate experience in capital markets
- Strong interest in energy trading and financial markets
- Highly motivated with a willingness to learn and develop
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
