IT Organisational Change Manager

Join a leading South Australian institution undergoing one of the most significant technology transformation journeys in its history. As part of a dedicated IT Change and Adoption function, you will play a pivotal role in delivering strategic programs that enhance digital experiences, modernise technology capabilities, and enable successful organisational change across a large and diverse stakeholder community. Two contract opportunities are available:

• IT Organisational Change Manager Enrolment Technology Program (6-month engagement)
• IT Organisational Change Manager IT Delivery Implementation & IT Infrastructure Program (12-month engagement)

Both roles are based in Adelaide with a hybrid working model and require regular on-site collaboration.
Your new role
Working within a high-performing Change and Adoption team, you will lead organisational change activities that support the successful delivery of complex technology and digital transformation initiatives. You will partner with senior leaders, project teams, business stakeholders, and end users to ensure new technologies, processes, and ways of working are successfully embedded across the organisation.
Key responsibilities will include:

• Developing and executing organisational change strategies and plans.
• Assessing and managing change impacts across people, process, and technology.
• Building stakeholder understanding, engagement, and readiness for change.
• Delivering targeted communications that drive awareness, adoption, and behavioural change.
• Coordinating training, enablement, and transition activities.
• Monitoring adoption, resistance, and change risks while providing actionable insights to project governance forums.
• Supporting the successful implementation of digital platforms and large-scale technology initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will bring:

• More than five years' experience delivering organisational change initiatives within complex IT environments.
• Demonstrated success partnering with senior stakeholders to deliver enterprise-wide transformation outcomes.
• Strong experience developing and implementing change management frameworks, strategies, and adoption plans.
• Proven capability in stakeholder engagement, communication planning, and user adoption initiatives.
• Experience driving behavioural change and embedding sustainable business outcomes.
• Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to tailor approaches to diverse stakeholder groups.
• Relevant Change Management certification (such as Prosci) and ideally Agile and Human Centred Design qualifications.
• Previous experience working on digital transformation, enterprise technology, or IT infrastructure programs.
• Higher education sector experience will be highly regarded.
