Irrigation Designer

WHAT
A full-time position, 42.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm), is available within Waterpro’s irrigation design team. In this experienced designer role, you will take ownership of irrigation design projects from concept through to documentation, independently producing high-quality designs across a wide range of prestigious projects using AutoCAD and IrrigationFX.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Independently designing irrigation systems for a diverse portfolio of projects, including golf courses, sporting facilities, parks, streetscapes, and major developments
- Producing detailed design drawings, specifications, and documentation using AutoCAD and IrrigationFX
- Attending meetings with clients, project managers, landscape architects, and other key stakeholders to discuss design requirements, review progress, and present outcomes
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines
This is an ideal opportunity for a candidate who holds CID qualifications or equivalent hands-on experience, and is ready to hit the ground running without the need for formal on-the-job training.
