We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Coordinator to join our Biotechnology Manufacturing Facility (BMF) team.
In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating manufacturing materials, managing inventory processes, maintaining Bill of Materials (BOMs), and supporting SAP system activities to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations within a GMP-regulated environment. You will work closely with Production, Procurement, Quality, Warehouse, and Supply Chain teams to support the timely availability of materials required for the manufacture of life-saving therapies.
This is an onsite role which will be based in Broadmeadows.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate the ordering and supply of manufacturing materials to support production schedules and operational requirements.
Create and maintain Bill of Materials (BOMs) for manufacturing processes.
Monitor inventory levels, material usage, and stock movements to ensure supply continuity while minimizing waste and expiry.
Act as a key SAP/ERP super user, supporting Production Planning, Material Management, and Warehouse Management activities.
Maintain accurate inventory and material data within ERP systems.
Coordinate new item creation and material change activities, including supporting change controls and approvals.
Collaborate with Procurement, Quality Control, Warehouse, QA, and external suppliers to ensure uninterrupted material supply.
Support quality systems activities, including deviation investigations and change control processes.
Ensure compliance with GMP, quality, safety, and regulatory requirements
Support facility and equipment GMP readiness activities including campaign setup and troubleshooting operational issues
About You
You are a proactive and collaborative professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and has a strong focus on accuracy, process compliance, and continuous improvement.
Essential Requirements
Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Science, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Logistics, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
Experience working in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment.
Experience using SAP is essential
Inventory management, materials planning, or supply chain experience.
Coordination experience.
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
