Our client is a leading ASX-listed Accounting Firm with offices around Australia, Ireland, USA and Hong Kong thats been running for over 20 years.

As an Intermediate or Senior Accountant, you’ll play a key role in supporting our clients next phase of growth. You’ll work closely with Partners, gain exposure to a diverse client base, and be supported with clear career pathways into leadership.

Multiple positions available across North Sydney, Brookvale or Avalon offices.

Seeking candidates with a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience within a Chartered Accounting practice.

Position Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Partners and team members to ensure client work is completed in a timely manner
• Work with Partners to provide tax planning and advisory services to clients
• Assist with staff training, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
• Lead and review the preparation of Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs
• Lead and review the preparation of BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT and PAYG for a variety of companies and trusts
• Liaise with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients
• Participate in training seminars, team meetings and social events
• Help provide exceptional service to our clients                            

About you

• 2-3+ years’ experience in a Chartered Accounting Practice
• Chartered Accountant qualification or in progress
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or similar
• Familiarity with practice management platforms like MYOB AE, APS, HowNow, Active Ledger, Xero, and QuickBooks – or a strong aptitude for learning new systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
