About the Role
As an Integration Developer, you will work within agile squads to design, develop and maintain high-quality integration services that support critical business outcomes. Partnering closely with architects, business analysts and product owners, you’ll build scalable AWS-based APIs and microservices while contributing to continuous improvement and mentoring junior developers within the squad.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Designing and developing production-grade AWS APIs and integration services aligned to user stories
- Building and deploying microservices using C# .NET Core within agile sprint cycles
- Writing and executing unit, integration and functional tests to ensure solution quality
- Participating actively in agile ceremonies including planning, refinement, stand-ups and retrospectives
- Conducting peer reviews of designs, code and test artefacts, providing constructive feedback
- Supporting operational stability through incident resolution, bug fixes and system enhancements
This position is based in Perth on a permanent full-time basis.
About You
You are a collaborative and technically strong Integration Developer who thrives in an agile environment. You’re passionate about building high-quality APIs, continuously improving your craft, and contributing positively to team culture. You enjoy working end-to-end, from design through to delivery, while mentoring others and learning new technologies.
Ideally, you will have:
- Proven experience developing production-quality integration services and REST APIs
- Strong hands-on experience with C# .NET Core and Web API development
- Solid understanding of AWS development, including services such as API Gateway, CloudFormation and SAM
- Experience writing automated unit tests using frameworks such as xUnit or NUnit with mocking tools
- Sound knowledge of source control principles and tools (e.g. Git)
- A collaborative mindset with strong communication skills and a passion for continuous learning and improvement
