Job Description

  • Maintain and update information systems to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.
  • Assist in the classification and indexing of records in accordance with public sector guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and organisational policies.
  • Handle information requests promptly and securely.
  • Provide advice and support to staff on record-keeping practices and procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits to maintain the integrity of information systems.
  • Contribute to the development of improved processes for information management.
  • Support the team in achieving departmental goals and objectives.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Information Management Officer should have:

  • A strong understanding of information and records management principles.
  • Experience working within the public sector or similar environments.
  • Proficiency in using electronic document and records management systems (EDRMS).
  • Experience using CM experience and CM administrator.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data integrity.
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.

  • Hourly pay ranging from $48.00-$52.00 Per Hour + Super.
  • 12 Month Full Time Contract.
