Are you an experienced Industrial Maintenance Fitter looking for a well-paid, permanent role where your technical skills make a real difference?

Based in Hemmant, this is an opportunity to join a busy industrial operation where equipment reliability is critical to production. You'll play an important role in keeping fixed plant and machinery operating safely and efficiently, helping minimise downtime and maximise performance.
What You'll Be Doing
Working as part of the maintenance team, your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out preventative and planned maintenance on industrial plant and equipment.
- Diagnosing mechanical faults and performing breakdown repairs.
- Maintaining and replacing bearings, chain drives, pulleys and associated mechanical components.
- Identifying equipment issues and implementing practical, effective solutions.
- Supporting equipment installations, repairs and ongoing reliability improvements.
- Maintaining high standards of workplace health and safety.
- Working collaboratively with production and maintenance teams to keep operations running smoothly.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
- A recognised Mechanical Fitter trade qualification.
- Experience maintaining and repairing industrial machinery and fixed plant.
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with bearings, chain drives, pulleys and mechanical drive systems.
- A proactive approach to preventative maintenance and breakdown response.
- A strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship and teamwork.
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
Experience in manufacturing, resource recovery, recycling or other heavy industrial environments will be highly regarded.
