Our client is a national leader in food manufacturing and part of a vertically integrated agribusiness group. Operating one of the most advanced meat processing facilities in Australia, they process 25,000 units weekly in a state-of-the-art plant featuring cutting edge automation, advanced refrigeration and wastewater systems, and specialised maintenance systems.
Located in Kingaroy, QLD, the facility runs 24/7 with a 12-hr rotating roster, offering stable employment, structured training, and a collaborative workplace culture.
The Role
This hands-on role involves fault finding, preventative maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of production machinery. Working with an established maintenance team of 32 members, the key responsibilities include:
- Fault finding and timely repair of production equipment
- Preventative maintenance across all plant machinery
- Assist in maintenance planning and project implementation
- Ensure compliance with electrical standards and safety protocols
- Collaborate with production, safety, and quality teams
- Support continuous improvement and automation initiatives

Skills & Experience
- QLD Electrical Licence and relevant trade qualification
- Open driver's licence
- Strong skills in fault finding and electrical repairs
- Willingness to relocate to or live in Kingaroy
- Effective communication and a team-focussed attitude
- Ability to work 12-hour (5 till 5) rotating shifts (days/nights, weekdays/weekends)
- Desirable: Exposure across PLCs, VSDs, Control Circuits, Boilers, Ammonia Plants, and Refrigeration systems (not essential)
