HVACR Technician – Defence & Marine
Location: Henderson / Rockingham, WA
Salary: $55.00 – $62.50 per hour + Super
About the Role
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced HVACR Technician to join a specialist team delivering HVAC and refrigeration services across Defence and marine environments south of Perth.
This is a predominantly static-site position based around the Henderson / Rockingham area, making it an excellent alternative to the traditional commercial service role where you're travelling between multiple sites each day.
You'll join an established technical team carrying out service, maintenance, fault finding and repairs across a variety of HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
The business is open-minded regarding your technical background. Whether your experience is predominantly in commercial HVAC, refrigeration or chillers, we'd be interested in hearing from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Service and maintain HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Complete planned and preventative maintenance
- Attend reactive breakdowns and diagnose faults
- Carry out repairs and component replacements
- Fault find across HVAC and refrigeration equipment
- Work across specialist Defence and marine environments
- Complete service documentation and reporting
- Maintain strict safety and compliance standards
- Work alongside an established team of technicians and apprentices
About You
- Certificate III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration
- Current ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence
- Strong service and maintenance experience
- Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Commercial HVAC, refrigeration or chiller backgrounds considered
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- White Card
- Comfortable working within secure environments
- Able to work effectively as part of an established technical team
Previous Defence or marine experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
