The company:

Our clients is a WA-owned and operated construction company with an established track record delivering projects across Government, Defence and commercial construction is looking for an experienced HSE Advisor to join their team on a permanent full-time basis.

This is a great opportunity to join an experienced and supportive team, with a strong focus on safety, quality and cultural awareness.

The successful candidate will provide HSE support across a number of Defence projects, working across various Defence facilities across Perth.

The Role:

• Provide HSE support across multiple Defence construction sites
• Conduct regular site visits, inspections and audits
• Assist with maintaining and implementing HSE systems, processes and documentation
• Work closely with Site Managers, Project Managers, subcontractors and site teams
• Provide practical advice and guidance on health, safety and environmental requirements
• Assist with incident reporting, investigations and corrective actions
• Promote a positive safety culture across all projects
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and company procedures

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience in an HSE / WHS role within the commercial construction industry
• Experience working across construction sites and providing practical HSE support
• Strong understanding of Australian WHS legislation and construction safety requirements
• Relevant HSE qualifications
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work autonomously and travel between multiple sites
• Defence or Government construction experience would be highly regarded
• Must be an Australian Citizen due to the nature of the projects
