What does the job look like?
Join Linfox Intermodal and become part of a team that keeps regional Queensland freight moving safely and efficiently. We are currently have an opportunity for a safety-focused and customer-oriented HR Driver with a Forklift Licence to join our Emerald operation on a permanent full-time basis.
This role that offers a mix of both local and regional deliveries, primarily transporting palletised freight. You'll spend most of your week completing local deliveries across Emerald and the surrounding region, with regional runs scheduled approximately twice per week.
This position operates Monday to Friday on day shift, starting at 6am - 2pm with reasonable overtime available as required. Key areas:
- Safely operating HR vehicles in accordance with Linfox's safety standards and Vision Zero commitment
- Completing both local and regional deliveries of palletised freight across Emerald and surrounding areas
- Loading and unloading freight and containers using forklifts and safe manual handling techniques
- Ensuring safe load restraint practices and compliance with Chain of Responsibility requirements
- Building positive working relationships with customers, drivers and operational teams

- A current and valid HR licence with experience operating Heavy Rigid vehicles
- A current LF forklift licence
- A strong commitment to safety and safe work practices
- Experience loading, unloading and handling palletised freight
- Sound knowledge of Emerald and surrounding regional areas
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
